26th Stocksbridge Spring Open Meet

 

taking place at

Ponds Forge International Pool, Sheffield

This event is licensed at level 3 for entry into regional and county championships.

Swimmer Seating

​

Swimmers will be located on the left hand side of the balcony; a copy of the seating plan can be downloaded here.

Withdrawals

 

Please email any advance withdrawals to pentaqua.clubroom@gmail.com by 6pm on Friday 21st April.

 

Withdrawals can also be submitted on the day by the following times:

Morning session by 7:45am

Afternoon session by 12:45pm

Warm Up Times

Session 1: 8:00am

Session 2: 1:00pm (estimated)

If any of your swimmers have any special disability requirements please let us know before the day.

Poolside Passes and Start Lists

​

Poolside passes and start lists will be available for collection in the Omega Suite. Start lists will also be posted below prior to the event.

Spectators

 

Spectators will be welcome to attend and will be seated on the right hand side of the balcony opposite swimmers. The admission fee is £5 with under 9s free. Cash only - please try and have the correct change if possible.

Swim Down Pool

​

The swim down pool is an important part of a swimmer’s preparation and will be available throughout the meet. This should be used for swimmers to warm up and swim down only. There have recently been instances of swimmers swimming to the bottom of the pool and diving in. Please make sure that you supervise your swimmers and that they are aware that this is dangerous and is not permitted. If the lead referee or Ponds Forge staff feel that the use of the swim down pool is being abused, it may be necessary to withdraw the facility.
